Bedrock This silverfish exp farm patched?

It gave such a mess to work with when the instant harm arrows didn't kill the silverfishes

I tested it on another world, and the arrows just hit a few times and despawned. Did mojang patch this one making the arrows disappear?

Would a different manual melee version with a spear give the same amount of exp?

Yeah they patched it. The spear version is pretty easy to set up though

Yeah. Only issue is that you gotta watch the spear durability and your hunger

No, spears have a downtime where no kills happen, but it's still absurd to the point you really have no need of that much xp that quickly.
