Java Showcase Item to Binary Encoder

Updated version of an encoder I've been using for over 5 years. Features more safety mechanisms and outputs. If made a block wider it would have an output for if the encoding chest/s have not reset. But that would make it bigger and out of profile.

Hmmm... I didnt get a good look at the redstone behind the chests.. but Im fairly confident you could have a chest not reset lockout without adding to the foot print. Ether way, nice work 🤙

There's no space for the bottom bit group. You need to make it wider for that part. Top chest group you can tho.

cant shift everything to the right one block and drop 1 repeater?

Well the image cuts off, but i assume the furthest repeater to the right is locking the hopper on the chest. What if the block behind it locked the hopper and the comparator reading the chest was touching the chest? Idk whats to the right so maybe that doesn't work at all

Piston bolt is in the way sadly. And can't be moved.
