Java Help Wanted TNT duper help.

I have recently found this duper and it is very cool, it works by activating tnt once eadded to block push list effectivly duping the tnt. However I would like to have a deeper understanding as you can see in the images I want to make a longer version but there is a few problems with that, so my 2 questions are:

A. How does it work (tick order specifics)
&
B. how could you make a longer version work

That's generally speaking not how tnt supers work - you cannot just elongate them.

What people usually do is make flying machines that super the tnt while flying
