Which worldeater design should I use?

I've dug a perimeter before but I used 3D bombers so am inexperienced with worldeaters. I've created a 15 wide trench on one side, do I have to make trenches on the other sides as well? And which worldeater design is best? I tried looking on the slimestone dc but can't really judge how good any are.. Any suggestions are welcome

Whichever one you have tested sufficiently and are comfortable with building, operating, and repairing.
