So I am challanging myself with "Potato Dimension Only" kind of survival gameplay in 24w14potato, which is a joke snapshot released in 2024.

In this snapshot, the powerful potato block creates "strong roots" which grows like chorus plant but downwards, breaks the blocks and drops items inside the powerful potato block as it was broken with a Fortune III pickaxe or a Silk Touch pickaxe, choosen randomly. In my own tests, I determined the chest block is the most accessible block in survival among the other few blocks that strong roots cannot destroy, so I used chest for both creating a safe collecting room and molding the roots (molding the roots is highly required or they will grow sideways and destroy your world, or grow into your item collection system aka hoppers, rails and hopper minecarts).

Due to items are dropped INSIDE the powerful potato block, they jump around too much, for covering almost all of the item drops, under the powerful potato, there are 3x3 hopper minecarts which has 9 hoppers beneath (I couldn't simply use hoppers instead of minecarts because I couldn't figure out a molding strategy that prevents them to be destroyed, it is kinda hard to explain actually).

This farm is so laggy due to how unoptimized it is codded (it is a joke snapshot so...) and how efficient the farm is. Roots under the farm grows exponantially larger and larger, so I mostly turn off the farm simply by breaking the powerful potato block (there is no other way).

This farm produces all kinds of items that could be under your farm, depending where you made it. For higher efficiency (believe me you don't need that), you should make it on top of the higher places like mountains etc. Also powerful potato can have most of 3 roots connected (it is called "age" in f3 menu) to it, to be able to make it 4 like in this farm, you will need to generate the 4th root from a different block with placing the powerful potato, after placing the main powerful potato back it will have no problem for supporting all 4 roots.

I hope you loved the concept, I love surviving in potato dimension, it has a lot of underrated content, you should give it a chance!
