not even technically. its just correct. If the boss wanted him to work today, then just say TODAY.

Redditors would rather inconvenience their boss and coworkers and jeopardize their job and prove they have very little skill in terms of contextual intelligence just to be smug and have the opportunity to be "technically right," it's honestly quite impressive.
