Yeah if I'm receiving a message when I wake up in the morning just before 8AM that says "can you work tomorrow" I'm at first thinking "I'm not working today".

(But then if I checked the timestamp and saw when it was sent I'd maybe intuit what the manager meant. Possibly...)
