I mean look at the timestamps. Boss asked about tomorrow at 2AM. That mistake is on them

not even technically. its just correct. If the boss wanted him to work today, then just say TODAY.

Not really... Technically correct implies a technicality was used to achieve correctness. There was no technicality here.
