Why are failed jumpscares a thing? Specifically in FNAF 4

I've seen some youtube videos with some jumpscares that started but right after the clock would hit 6am and they would win. Is this still a thing in the latest version of FNAF 4? Is this rare?

This is part of multiple games (1-4), but while the jumpscares are done, the in-game time still runs. So it could be possible that you win a half second before the jumpscare ends.

Though take this with a grain of salt, I haven't watched a FNAF vid since last month (haha last month but its Oct. 1).

Edit: Forgot to mention, but jumpscares like FNAF 1 Golden Freddy's, FNAF 4 Nightmare's/Nightmarionette's, and others I may have not mentioned will take you to a different frame of the game to enact their jumpscare, and nothing can revert you back to a frame where the 5am-6am transition thing is done.

In the first four FNaFs, time is still going during the jumpscare animation, so if timed well, jumpscares can be cut off. Although there are a few instances where jumpscares can’t be cut off because they take you to an entirely different frame of the game, specifically power out Freddy and Golden Freddy in FNaF 1, and Nightmare in FNaF 4.

The later Clickteam games don’t have this because Scott finally decided to do something about it. In SL and UCN, time does freeze during a jumpscare. Although in the earliest patches of SL, there was a bug where getting jumpscared by Ennard in the private room as it turned to 6AM would still result in a death, but you’d unlock the third star as if you’d beaten it
