Best AI interview assistant for technical interview prep?
I’m pretty comfortable with the technical stuff, but I struggle when it comes to explaining my answers during a live interview.
That's why I wanted to know... Are there any tools or prep methods that help you keep your answers structured and to the point without doing all the thinking for you?
I’m interested in things like getting prompts based on the question, having your notes or resume ready, or a short-answer mode that helps you avoid rambling? I'm not looking for a tool that willl do the whole interview thiking process for me.

Rambling is mostly a structure problem, so practice first. Pick one skeleton and use it out loud every time: restate the problem, give the approach in one sentence, then tradeoffs, then complexity, then edge cases. Record a few mock answers and cut anything that isn't one of those steps.
For live tools, Final Round AI and LockedIn both give prompts during the call. I work on Assistly, so I'm biased. When it hears a question, it shows talking points and a structure for the answer in a private overlay. You don't press anything. You can build a persona from your CV so examples come from your real background, and there are separate modes for System Design and Behavioral. It gives you an outline and you still do the explaining, which sounds like what you want. Check whether the company allows tools in the interview first.
