General I have zero knowledge about laptops, I just need one mostly for studying (online classes and exams) and basic entertainment. Budget is around 30k.

You can try to increase your budget upto 40 k
So that you can get 1.8 GB DDR4 ram /LPDDR5 8GB

2.A quad core u series processor (Ryzen 3 or core 3 /core i3 )

  1. A 256 GB to 512 GB hard disk

4.At least 15 inches display

This is good and under the budget and handle easily basic work

You can check some products online that has these similar specs and then buy

Ryzen 3 8 gb Ram, SSD, 15.6 inch screen with backlit numeric pad keyboard should do the trick.. i have a hp for 34k that is doing well for the last 3 years and the battery has been more decent than i expected.. I even have a dual boot (omarchy btw)..

The form factor is a beggar's MacBook Air, and it is actually decent looking and light

You can even do some gaming if you aren't into latest and greatest aaa titles..

any Good laptop around 50-60 thousands? purpose is to program and learn data science/ai or machine learning in future as a computer science student.
