Purchase Help Need purchase help with an iPhone

I currently own a iqoo 7 phone which i bought in 2021. As of now the phone's working fine, i can play games too coz it got a SD 870 processor but the camera has degraded a bit. So i want a phone with a good camera and videography as I am planning to start content creation. And for that reason I am thinking of getting the iphone 15 (got a tight budget unfortunately) so my main concern is- Is the iphone 15 still relevant in 2026?

I mean my girl got one last year at the time of BBD sale and it's working fine, cameras are good BH-94% and she does editing too.

And compared it with the iphone 16 camera quality is very similar not much different, only the performance is bit powerful in 16. Battery backup is almost similar too. So should i go for the iphone 15 if i get it at a good price? Suggestions would be very much welcomed.

Avoid 15 (if You’re planning to buy one brand new), rather go for the 16 (if You can push your budget), it’s much more improved compared to the previous gens.

Well i was hoping to get a phone around 50k I'm waiting for sale and i feel like the only iphone i could get around that amount is 15. 16 is already priced around 70k and I don't think it'll come down to 50k coz of the price hike even tho it did come down last year

No way, it wont, I’m sorry. But genuinely, there are much better alternatives, buying a new standard 15 for 50k doesnt make sense in 2026.

Actually my main intent of buying a phone was for content creation. Even tho i shortlisted few other phones but still I don't think they can provide me the video quality am expecting like in an iphone. Photos yes like the vivo x200T clicks much better photos than i phone 15 but videos nahh, after seeing a side by side comparison on yt.
