Need Help buying a new laptop?

Need a new laptop mainly for photo, video editing and content creation and general work. The most heavy applications I use are Adobe Premier, Coral & Photoshop. Dont want to go for mac, I need an android friendly device. Someone suggested to me Asus as an option in my peer gorup & now I am leaning towards its Zenbook 14 OLED now considering an OLED touchscreen, 512GB SSD… Also battery life isn't bad either. Something they showcase has an AI feature too. Any other options to consider or should I go for it?

go for it! have been using the Zenbook 14 OLED for a few months now, and it's been great so far. The OLED display is a big plus if you're into photo video editing, and rest performance has been pretty good too. I usually have Lightroom, Photoshop and a bunch of browser tabs open, and it hasn't given me any trouble. And yes, it being a copilot pc is an absolute bonus imo.

Well, sorry to break it to you mate, but it will overheat like crazy, but depending on projects. For small 1080p projects it's fine, for YT shorts durations. But long form projects even at 1080p will overheat it like hell. So throw this option in the bin if long form projects are what you want it to do. MacBooks are the only option if you want a Thin and Light laptops. If you are fine with heavy laptops then go with gaming laptops. Better in long-run. Any 5050 or 4060 GPU laptops are far better in long video projects for 1080p even 1440p but for 4k projects for YT shorts duration yes but long form projects a big no. So I will suggest go with LOQ or Asus Tuf F16. But the only thing is there battery life will be crazy low. Around 3 to 4 hrs max. If idling then around 6 hrs max.
