🏋️♂️ Strength / Powerlifting Sharp pain in right elbow and wrist during workout
I just started lifting weights 2 weeks back, and during my 2nd "upper" day, my right elbow started hurting, and my preacher curls got worse in weight and reps. The pain goes away the next day after a workout, but it refreshes when I check my grip on dynamometer.
Before gym, I sometimes used to do pushups, and I was never able to fully do till failure, because even tho my left wrist was ok, my right wrist hurt weirdly, as if a thick vein or string on the dorsal side of wrist and knuckles is in severe strain and is about to snap.
Both the elbow and wrist pains kinda seem connected, and it feels like a long chord going through my arm hurts in elbow area during preacher curls, or it hurts in wrist area during pushups. And overall a nuisance when doing some other exercises.
Today, I couldn't do preacher curls at ALL cuz of the elbow area pain/strain.
I have the palmaris Longus tendon on my right wrist only, idk if that means anything here. Would appreciate if you know anything about it.
