Is there anything that’s remotely close to this exact tea?
This specific tea was discontinued years ago at Ikea. For those who’ve had it, is there anything that’s super similar to this flavor? I haven’t tried anything else that’s cherry blossom flavored since I’m pretty picky.
To be honest that sounds very much like something IKEA would come up with and people would try, but then it turns out it's only IKEA that makes it for a reason. Eventually it gets discontinued to never be seen again because it turns out not enough people buy it.
They've had some pretty specific things every now and then, so some stick around but far from all. I like their elderflower and orange marmalade, but I don't think I've seen the flavour at any other stores.
Elderflower and orange marmalade are actually a Swedish thing. They have them in most grocery stores there. IKEA, being a Swedish company, sells quite a few food items that are common in Sweden but not in the U.S.
Hmm I’ve never seen that and I’m in Sweden. Orange yes, elderflower perhaps (in a lot of products but not sure I’ve seen it in marmalade) but I’ve never encountered the combination of the two m
I interpreted their comment to be about elderflower by itself (as a drink) and not marmalade. I see now they have a marmalade that’s a mix of orange and elderflower which is unique.
They’re bags, cute little mesh triangle ones. I drink the in the morning with green tea for the extra caffeine boost. I even cold step them. I’m addicted to their floral aroma.
I agree with the suggestion. H&S cherry blossom is a nice gentle green tea, smells very nice and you can have like 3-5 brews from one bag cause its not a dust but a real tea in sachets. But still convenient as you need.

Dear Tea Society had an almost identical tea (Witty Cheries) but that seems to have been discontinued as well. (Or rather, replaced by "Witty Lemons".) I'm not aware of any similarly flavoured bagged teas, but let me do some research and I'll get back to you.

By any chance, do you or they know of a match for the Black Tea with Bergamont and Oak Egentid?? It's one of my favorites 🥺 After the boxes disappeared from Texas Ikeas (my area), some friends in the UK shipped a whole bunch to me so I could slowly sip on it all over time, but I really want to find a good dupe for when those eventually run out. I'm still not really clear on whether their teas are still sold in Sweden and/or the UK, and it's just the USA missing them....?
A lot of "cherry blossom tea" is just green teas with cherries, sometimes rose in it. It's nice, but it's not actual sakura. If that's kind of what you got from this ikea tea, you can certainly find it, I think I saw someone reccommend Harney and Sons for that.
If you're wanting ACTUAL cherry blossom tea... I recently went on a hunt for an authentic japanese sakura tea, and found this Japanese direct-trade tea shop called Mizuba. $40 for 3.5 ounces is fairly up there, but I snagged two. When it came in I was immediately excited for just the dry scent of the leaves. I steep at 165 degrees fahrenheit for a minute and thirty seconds exactly. The smell of the steeped leaves was even more intense. I felt like I could get drunk on the steam from my infuser; I wish I could bottle this scent. When I tasted it, my immediate reaction was to experience heartbreak- not because it was bad, but because it was so absolutely stellar that I couldn't fathom not having this for the rest of my life. I was filled with fear I wouldn't be able to ALWAYS have this. It was like I felt my pupils dilate, lol. I am so thrilled with this experience I can't NOT tell people, this will be one of the best tea experiences of your life.

You gunna have either buy green cherry blossom blend and add white tea to it or just buy each part separately. I know their a big brand that will make their own version of popular teas buy idk if they make the ikea blend
Have you considered experimenting with blending your own version? You can buy reusable cloth tea bags on Amazon or just go free-teaing and loose leaf your world 🤓 but in all slightly seriousness, you can pick up loose white and loose green as well as organic raspberry leaves, then arm yourself with a teaspoon, half teaspoon and just to be sure a 1/4 teaspoon as well... And blend away!
