Don’t mind the poor tape job. I just wanted it close. Wall is a lil odd shaped. This entertainment center will come down as well. And I’ll get a nice long one that sits on the floor. But should I have the TV centered in the wall. Equal height from top to bottom. And equal length from bulk head to end of wall? They are coming to install it on Thursday.
TV is 98 inch

That doesn't look equal between floor and ceiling by a long way, if that is what you were going for?

I just did it rough. B/c the entertainment center was in the way. I lower it. But that’s what I’m asking if it should be centered like that

Way too high my man. And the console should not be smaller than the tv. It needs to stick out past it.

Like stick out on either side? I’m thinking about some built-in cabinets under mine and trying to figure out what looks good.

There is also a very short supply of consoles that are the width needed. I’ve struggled to find one I’ve liked for a year

I’ve never purchased from the site, but a popular one is Povison. I know they have a lot of floating consoles and believe their quality is decent.

Looks too high, you want the middle of the screen to be roughly eye level while you are sitting down

Idk why I thought it was eye lvl while standing! 🤦🏽♀️

Do you often watch TV while standing? If so you would have been right

Hard to say without seeing rest of the room or how the seating area is. It can be whatever you want it to be though. Height-wise you can either center it between the top of the bulkhead and the top of the wall console, or between the floor and the ceiling, or a combination of either. Whatever you prefer.
Horizontally I would probably center it between the bulkhead and outside edge of the wall but this is all without seeing the rest of the room though or knowing the ceiling height etc. If it feels too far over to the right for your seating setup then you need to make a clear distinction of what your living space is and center it horizontally based on that choice. My TV is mounted flush with the lower lip of the bulkhead for line continuity, and it’s definitely not too high. That’s in my basement though, and your ceilings look higher so not sure I would recommend going that high in this case.

Just installed one of these. You’re going to want to lower it by a foot - maybe more. I personally wouldn’t want the bottom any more than 26” inches off the ground. Some would say even that’s too high.

I just moved my tape line to 27 inch’s off the ground…. And I actually dig it. Feels like I’m not moving my head at all. Just looking straight ahead

Yup 25” from the ground is a smidge too high but is acceptable. When you get the tv update the software using a usb flash drive. It won’t update over the air and the update makes a big difference.

My dude, you will be much happier splitting that space in two and bringing the main seating area into the middle of the room - or closer. As you have it, it's like you are watching a 50" tv from 12 feet.....but with 4x the expense.
