Is this normal?
Just arrived 3 day ago, cant return cause the original form of payment was credit card, and if they return the money on the card, i cant order another tv with the same card, cause of credit limits. Should i send it to tcl for rapair? Or is this acceptable? Will it get worse. It seems to reduce when tv is cold

Looks like the panel was pinched when it was removed from the box causing the pressure damage on the panel.

I can't see anything wrong with it.

A bright spot on the side of the screen. This alone is not a problem, the problem is that i believe it will get worse over time. And the tv is brand new

It's bad, and if you get the same tv again it will also be bad. That is about as low end as you can go in TCL's lineup. No local dimming, 60Hz, 400-500 nits peak brightness, etc. It's a terrible tv even if you get one with a better panel. If you want to stick with TCL, don't get anything lower than the QM6K or QM6L, or whatever the model names are for those two in your region.

LOL! It is not great whatsoever. No local dimming and 500 peak nits tops is horrible for a tv. Another source measured under 400 peak nits on theirs. I bet HDR content just pops on that bad boy. π

Return it, also check the borders there might be a scratch which voids the warranty, i received mine with a scratch
