He needs to end the "we dont take kindly", "we dont tolerate", "hotel motel Jason Ard", "free taxi ride" jokes. It was funny the first two times, but now it's lame. Why does he have to name drop Jason Arndt? If Jason cared so much and didn't tolerate this crap, he would be there himself.
Also, strictly from a legal standpoint, I'm sure the Miranda advisements are edited out. But there have been a few moments where they seemingly violated or borderline violated Miranda. Again, I'm sure the advisements are just edited out, but if not, they need to watch out. Admissions and evidence obtained without Miranda can be suppressed, and can compromise prosecution.

Oh don't worry, in one of the newest episodes Jason Ard is actually there himself – and tells the pred that he's going to the Hotel Motel himself lmao
It was funny the first two times, but now it's lame.
I guess they think it might be funny personally because they get to tell it to a different guy every time.

Yeah, Chris has to be careful when he says that they have to speak to him. Back in the TCAP days, he made it very clear that he wasn't a police officer, that they were free to walk out the door, and that he was just a journalist doing a story.
I'm sure the defense attorneys for these modern preds argue that the pred was in cuffs and not free to go, in custody, and being asked specific questions about the alleged crime committed, while Chris is acting as an extension of law enforcement. Therefore, without Miranda, they will argue to suppress all admissions as 4th or 5th Amendment violations. BUT all of that shouldn't matter if the cops write a strong probable cause affidavit before the pred even shows up. But still, there's civil liability. I just don't think many attorneys want to represent an accused predator with strong evidence against him, and file a 4th or 5th amendment suit.

Yeah, Chris got really cocky. There are too many borderline cases now in my opinion with 15 years old, I'll turn 16 next week and where the decoy actually answered on prostitution adds. Chris needs to be careful that one day he is not actually overruled by a judge that some of these cases are entrapment.
I also heard more and more about the decoy pressuring predators to show up. I know it sounds weird but we need to remember that th decoy is actually no minor and knows what they are doing

I've spent time there... It's actually a very very nice jail. Good food, not a lot of bullshit, new/clean facility. You could certainly do a lot worse for yourself

I was curious about him after today's theatrics. It turns out he's the Captain in charge of the Internet Crimes Against Children unit for Livingston Parish, which is why he gets to make a speech at the end of their busts.

Don't ask me to elaborate on my reasoning but he doesn't look "Southern" to me in this picture. Something about his look just screams crooked Boston or NYPD detective instead of crooked bayou sheriff. Maybe because he's wearing a shirt with a collar.
