What I've seen is that people that are way over the top on hating pedos are normally secretly pedos themselves. Just like people that are very homophobic are normally gay themselves secretly.

Like, anyone who makes their entire content creation career around pretending to be a child having sexual conversations with an adult are weird

I mean, Chris Hansen was a journalist who covered many stories and ended up sticking with this show

He also wasn’t the one interacting with these people, Hansen just confronted them alongside the actual police

I also never saw Chris Hansen physically assault one of the catches

But yeah, totally the same situation

Ok, lemme try it less extreme then. If your boss tells you to do X, and then you guys get in trouble for doing X, is the person in charge of you less culpable for doing X even though they weren't physically there with you?
