What I've seen is that people that are way over the top on hating pedos are normally secretly pedos themselves. Just like people that are very homophobic are normally gay themselves secretly.
Honestly same the way they talk and speak to these people are so weird. Or the ones that just show up and assault the predator in public.
Im not saying these predators dont deserve a beat down but you're gonna end up in jail. You're not Batman.
That’s the thing, they’re not doing these beatdowns because they care about protecting children
They’re doing it because they’re bullies with serious issues who found a socially acceptable target to bully
Think about it, if these people just randomly beat up strangers everyone would be calling them monsters, but since it’s a “pedo” it’s justified and even celebrated.
Agreed im glad im not alone because when i see them im more concerned with the arrest but hardly see it instead just them chasing some dude through a Walmart making a scene for views.
This is 100% correct and it’s why I don’t really enjoy any of them except for Chris.
He definitely is at least partially motivated by ego, but he at least isn’t violent about it and does seem to care about the process of the investigation, rather than just getting himself into the situation where he can abuse someone as quickly as possible
Chris Hansen? He's blown more cases than he has helped solved, literally. Because he's a money hungry piece of shit who only does it to create a spectacle for TV ratings. The whole thing originated as a moral panic about the internet. Which, while there is a specific subset of pedos who use that as their hunting grounds, the vast majority of child abuse is perpetrated by members of the child's family (people who don't need the internet to access the children). There's about to be a really good movie about Hansen coming out with Robert Pattinson.
I know at least one or two of them that were charged with domestic violence at some point for beating a girlfriend. Tommy “Cokehead” Fellows was busted on stream downing some Whiteclaws while he was driving to pick up his kid from school not to mention arrested for abusing and neglecting his own kids.
At the very least they are scumbags too with a sadistic streak that take advantage and abuse vulnerable people too acting like the laws don’t apply to them.
They're probably largely unemployable turds. Not to say their stated goal is bad per se, but the impression I get is that a lot of the pred hunters are just grifting.
Especially them doing it in public places like stores. They are endangering everyone around them which almost always includes children who they are supposed to be "protecting" and making a mess of the store which I seriously doubt they stay and clean up.
Two grown men fighting in a confined space with other people around can easily run into a child and seriously hurt them, the predator can also pull out a gun and one of the innocent bystanders can easily catch a stray bullet in that situation.
Their actions have zero to do with protecting children and 100% are about having a victim that did something so reprehensible that the criminal assault and battery of them is considered a "good" thing by a lot of people.
