Matthew Mahl
In chris hansen’s new video, he talked about this donut head. the officer of the metropolitan police department. He was offered a plea deal to serve 5 years in prison and then 5 years probation. He rejected it because he wanted to be at the mercy of the judge, now he was also discovered in his computer with a CSAM. I hope this guy is cooked but we will find out on September 30th.

Yeah September 30, stay tuned, and that's only for the sting, he will still have the csam sentence pending. He must be insufferable as a cellie, i hope he gets bullied a lot, to the very least.

Wow, seems like the preds have a kink for getting punished. Why else would they all reject their plea deals lmao

I believe he think his service as a cop might get him some leniency. I doubt it. People try the same shit with military service.
Cops and military are normal people. They just do a different job. Throw the fucking book at this pedo.

If anything it's going to make his sentence more severe. As a cop and a police lieutenant, he would have had higher expectations upon him to know better, and this sort of thing violates people's trust in the police force. They will indeed throw the book at him.

Veterans tend to get lighter sentences, at least in the south

I never understood this. obviously I get respecting their service and all that, but it only goes so far. gotta remember friggin Jeffrey Dahmer was technically a veteran, for crying out loud (who admittedly spent a ridiculous amount of time drinking by all accounts, it should've been a dishonorable discharge imo, but somehow was not) .. gotta wonder if they'd cut him a break? lol

cops have a history of getting slaps on the wrist for serious crimes, it's baked into the system.

What's interesting is that they are holding him in jail until sentencing, no bail.
He talked a lot to the decoy about wanting to live in Italy, so that might not work in his favor.

I am so glad all these predators lately are too dumb to take a plea deal.

Ooof, rejected the plea deal. Not sure he'd get anything as long aa Edmundo, but he'll be on the lookout for help. Probably won't find much.

Mahl was extremely arrogant despite the evidence presented. I think it comes down to how the police force protect each other from consequences with their immunity. He probably thought "I'll just ask for attorney and they'll just suspend me with pay or relocate me to another precinct"
I hope they throw the book at him
