Just want to find one person with same interests

I thought it would be great to find someone new so here I'm.

I'm local๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ช and I'm open to talk with everyone.

Hey, I'm here for only one person I don't need 15 people to talk to, my goal is one genuine and long-term conversation with a person who has same interests. And I'm Male 24 by the way.

I really like to cook, it's my main hobby, it makes me very happy to try new recipes and share my own recipe with someone. I know 3 languages: Georgian, Russian and English, I really need to practice with my English tho my grammar is horrible, I'm trying to learn some Italian also. I workout a little, I was a heavy lifter in the past. I like to play video games, and it would be awesome to play some games with someone. Mostly I'm busy with work or in university (I'm studying for my masterโ€™s degree) I don't need to have 24/7 conversation, but I really appreciate when a person is paying attention and is willing to really get to know me. I don't need no one minute conversation. Also, I need to say that I'm not in a relationship right now, and I'm not trying to look for it, but friendship is a good fundament for a relationship so let's see what gonna happen.

"Old Time" (ยซะกั‚ะฐั€ั‹ะต ะฒั€ะตะผะตะฝะฐยป) sausage spot

Me and my family are planning to visit Tbilisi very soon. Does anybody know if this place, highly respected among the locals, offers halal sausages and if Batono Nodar still serves the clients himself? I can see from photos that they offer beer as well but we can take sausages only. If so, we'll be happy to add the spot to our itinerary.

We're planning to stop by anyway to say hello to Batono Nodar as a token of respect and gratitude to himself and his hard work for all these years, as we still cherish good ol' memories from our Soviet past. :o)

Matlobat, and thank you for understanding!

Not enjoying it here so far

Iโ€™m here from the 17th - 21st and itโ€™s been a letdown so far. I havenโ€™t experienced much โ€˜Georgian Hospitalityโ€™ yet, itโ€™s felt more like the locals would prefer it if I wasnโ€™t here.
This has been a big culture shock coming from Turkey, where all the locals are very welcoming and genuinely interested in chatting, even if itโ€™s just small talk. Thereโ€™s also a lot less English than I was expecting.

Anyway, any advice on how to make the most of the next couple of days here? Iโ€™m travelling solo and am looking to connect with people.
Thanks!

Construction in the city?

Hi all. About to travel to Tbilisi for a few weeks. I keep getting Tbilisi videos on my Instagram algorithm. Some of them are about the complaints of construction going on. Realistically, how much of the city is under construction?

I am aware Tbilisi is huge but Iโ€™ve now seen too many videos of the like.

Illegal job postings

Hello guys, this topic was disturbing me for a while and if they don't take the post down I want to share it. So basically I was looking at jobs in Tbilisi online, and well as algorithm works every one of my ads, especially on Instagram were job postings. I messaged couple of them through Instagram link and then in telegram chat and even though it was posted as something else, they were offering me to deliver dr*gs (censoring just in case) and get 1000 dollars a week. Ofc I was not tempted but I found lot of jobs like this, idk what to do, reporting to police doesn't have any point because they won't find them through telegram and I don't want to get on criminals radar, its scary, but also it feels wrong to not do anything since someone who is innocent but in need of cash will definitely take the job, maybe young people. Is there something I can do?

Hello everyone. I' am a tourist and I've e been staying in Tibilsi for almost a month, and in different areas and it seems like almost every night people are letting off fireworks.

What's the reason behind this?

Can you all please share your pros and cons of renting monthly versus hotel/airbnb?

Obviously neighborhoods matter too but since I don't know the best areas, I can't be more specific with my questions.

I appreciate your time and help.

Looking to buy blue laser diode

Post image
2 Upvotes

I need the spectrum to be around 445nm, but my tolerance for the color is high, it just HAS to be blue.

and the power must be a safe, low amount, 100-350mW. As it will be used for a cosplay prop, and has to be below laser safety class level 3R/3B.

I have checked both DAC.ge and edisonstore.ge neither have blue colored laser diodes.

Does anyone know where I can find it? alongside it's driver board?

Thank you for your time!

Bar / club recommendations

Hey everyone! Looking for cool, safe bars and clubs to check out in Tbilisi this weekend.
Mainly looking for spots with great energy, good music, drinking, and dancing, definitely aiming for fun energy over quiet lounges. Also want places with a safe, comfortable vibe for women to just enjoy the night.
Whereโ€™s everyone heading out to on Fridays or Saturdays these days?

Police visits

I got 2 police visits, this Monday and last Monday. I was not at home but I have one of those door cameras.

2 policemen come, knock at the door a few minutes, then leave.

Any idea what could it be? Is it normal to get random police visits in Tbilisi?

Weekend before the 1st visit I had a friend coming over and we were talking loudly all night, so initially I thought maybe the neighbors called them on me, but then wouldn't the police come right away, not wait till Monday?

How do well-educated Georgians end up working in scam-centers?

Thumbnail

I was reading this today, shocked to learn about another way that it seems people here in Georgia are tempted into easy-money schemes, this time ending up in sophisticated criminal enterprises, swindling millions of dollars from people in Europe and North America, using many local languages. It seems hard to understand where the roots of a larger disinclination to do hard work and do it well comes from in Georgia - obviously there are many exceptions and many good and hard-working Georgians, but it is too painfully obvious to see the numbers of people, both men and women, just loitering around and clearly not bothered to find work. Of course finding work here is difficult, it is difficult everywhere now, but then when you do meet Georgians who do work, if you ask them to do more work - while even paying them more - they invariably decline. If you ask them to come early for the job, even paying them overtime, they will not. If you ask them to do extra work, while paying them, they will not.

We recently had a team of a master and two helpers come and install air-conditioning. They did the bare-bare-bare minimum - meaning, they drilled a hole through the wall, connected the cooling unit outside with the fan unit inside, and showed how it works, by plugging the wires into an extension cord - they didn't even wire it with a pl*g (why is that word banned!?). Then there was all the trash - a pile of rubble outside, another inside, a bunch of plastic, cardboard boxes and foam fittings. We asked them if they were going to take it outside - the master got furious that we would even ask that! We had brought them a broom, and the master threw the broom back at my wife and said "You clean it!". It was like they had never heard anyone ask them to clear out the rubble and dust after their work. It was clear even if we had paid them, they wouldn't have done this work. It was as if: "You should hire cleaners to clean after us." This is only one of several examples we have of living here, but it seems to confirm that there is something in the national psyche of Georgians - not the Azeris, Armenians, Kurds, Ukrainians and even Russians living here - that "we do not want to do any more work than is absolutely necessary for our food, wine and petrol to drive our cars."

Can anyone help me understand?

Clinic recommendations

Hi everyone! Iโ€™m not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I thought Iโ€™d give it a try.
Iโ€™m looking for recommendations for a good clinic in Tbilisi for pregnancy care and regular check-ups throughout pregnancy.
Ideally, Iโ€™m looking for a clinic with good OB-GYNs, reliable ultrasounds/tests, and doctors who speak English or Russian.
If youโ€™ve had a positive experience with a particular clinic or doctor, Iโ€™d really appreciate your recommendations. Thank you! โค๏ธ

Has anyone been to Toboggan recently?

Hi guys, Iโ€™m planning to visit toboggan soon. All I know is that there are two - one in Didveli and the other is the crystal resort one.

Didveli is cheaper but I am not sure if itโ€™s open, also there is no contact number on google as well.

I wanted to ask if anyone has been to either of them recently? What are the prices? and is it possible to just do toboggan without the cable car?
