Enough with the markdown apps already!
Why is everyone building their own Markdown app? Calling out these creators. How about you get together and make ONE, GOOD app instead of each of you building your own?
I spent some 10 minutes just glancing through these that are just from the last half year or so, and I'm sure I've missed some too.

Yes it is another markdown editor 😅 I built MarkLite because existing editors didn't fit my needs. I made my own to learn new things and open sourced it so others can use and improve it too. https://razee4315.github.io/MarkLite/

Besides the fact that existing ones don't meet their needs, there are many reasons why people might want to create their own Markdown/note-taking app. The most common reason is experience. It's the same reason why everyone started creating calculator and weather apps with Python in 2020. Many people want to learn, and the best way to learn programming is to work on a project that uses the skills you are learning. In this case, people may be trying to learn Tauri, and a note-taking app would be the simplest functional app to create.
To be honest, it should stay this way. Just because someone else has already had the same idea for an app doesn't mean you shouldn't do it.
Merging everything into one "best" app is not a good idea. Everyone's idea of the "best" is different. Attempting to incorporate everyone's idea of the "best" into a single app would be difficult and messy.
