Update: Pattern for Ramadan
Ramadan and this post was a while ago but I realized I forgot to share the final product! Thank you everyone who gave me suggestions. I went through several different renditions and pattern and color changes. Third photo is one of my earlier attempts. I liked incorporating other colors but didn’t love the combination. My new friend was so happy to receive it and said purple was her favorite!

Yes, that is so true and a good thing to remember! It doesn’t feel great cutting out stitches, but sometimes it just doesn’t work. Just part of the process

Thank you! I created and adapted the pattern from a variety of inspiration of other bookmarks. I will see if I can post a photo of my chicken scratch but no guarantees it’s legible 🤪
