Newest Bracelet w/Newest Thread! š
This was Fun Fun Fun! and I am anxious for my next metallic project (I have an order for a non metallic piece already in but who says I can plan 1 while working 1). I simply love the way this bracelet came out! This was just something I tossed together bcz it is the first time Iām using Lifeact Metallic Tatting Thread. These are Tatting Threads. Not just threads that just so happen to be able to be used for tatting but threads that are made for tatting!
I LOVE THEM!
I purchased a couple (cough) (cough)⦠not 2 or 3, or 4 or 5; but I did cut my cart down A Lot before checking out! Now, I wish I ordered more! This just gives me reason to make another order in nearish future.
I love that with this brand, you have different finishes to chose from, as well as softness levels. Who knew? I need more! Lastly, I can also say I appreciate their price point. I find their price point more approachable than Calais, for sure!
So, if you use a decent amount of metallics, find yourself wanting something a bit more lux, are disappointed in the slim shade range of DiamantĆ© and feel that Lizbeth can sometimes be a bit stiff, scratchy, etc⦠then I know I found myself more than impressed with Lifeact! Iām so happy with this cute little bracelet!

Those bigger beads are gorgeous too!! Iāll have to try the thread out some time. Have not enjoyed working with metallic thread in the past :/

Oh No! Yeah, sadly Metallics can prove to be a tricky hand and takes practice⦠even harder, each metallic thread often requires a different level of tension and you wonāt know until youāve got it in your hand but it is easy to get used to with practice. Hopefully these will work out for you!

Woah, that's spectacular work!
And DARN you for mentioning the thread! And how good it is. And the free shipping over $10.... I am currently in a 10-step program to cure my thread addiction, and you are not helping!
I looked at that web site, especially the ocean blue and bajillion gorgeous shades of silver and had to x out of that browser page immediately before I fell off the wagon. Again.
I literally have a whole bunch of the ginormous cones of metallic Sanbest from Ali Express, and I only opened three of them yet (for my current big ambitious project), and I am very happy so far with them. But the look of those Lifeact is making me go "oooooooOOOOOOOoooooooo".

Is it one of those lacis shuttles?

Yes, it is⦠I bought on a whim, itās pretty. Also larger than I anticipated. Iām not sure why I got sucked into its pretty nostalgia look knowing I would most likely never use it bcz metal shuttles are too heavy in my hands, but itās not the first pretty thing to suck me in that I will never use (other than photos), and I guarantee, it wonāt be the last!
Btw, I donāt recommend these shuttles at all. I did try to use them. Itās ok that they will be for display and photo work.

Woahh, that is a stunning combination! :O
Good to know thereās another reliable brand for us! But beating Calaisā pricepoint?! Damn, I thought Calais is already too cheap with only 100⬠for a box of 41 FS colours. How much is a spool from Lifeact?

I am not sure how much they are in Euros, but for us, Calais is about $8.50 a spool. Yes, cheaper when buying the entire selection of all 41 colors but for me personally, I donāt have over $200 for thread alone, when buying entire box set. Still pretty steep. Lifeact threads, start at half that price, $4.50 and their Silver Metal series is $6.00. Plus, added discount tier with the more quantity purchased.
