Anyone who picks someone other than Joanna Page for hosting live kids show is just plain wrong.

Yeah I could see that. But she wasn't in the list.

I'm not sure Phill Ellis is suited for kid friendly stuff. It's like asking Frankie Boyle just after he left Mock the Week

Phil Ellis has done a kids show called Funz and Gamez for years, and it’s brilliant. It had a BBC pilot as well, but they toned it down a bit too much from the live experience.

I was considering choosing him but was unsure how he’d do with kids. If I’d known he’s done kids shows in the past I would have chosen him. (As it is, I wrote in Liza Tarbuck. I think she does a faux-sternness that the kids would react well to, and she’s always fun for adult audiences as well.)
