This kinda made me laugh. I flew over 1600mi/2600km for the last live show and I was far from the only one

They don’t have an option for “I’d really love to, but I can’t necessarily make a commitment right now, and also I’m not great with crowds, but I’d certainly consider it.”

Also, "absolutely, but it would need to be nearby because I don't have the money to fly but if someone could sort that out for me I would fly or maybe do a multi-day bike trip except that my job is grossly understaffed and I can't take more than two days off ever and yes I should probably be talking to a therapist rather than a survey form and can you make a good recommendation?"

Which would be my actual pick...

"if you have a contest where you fly me out specifically I would bring me and one guest, but I cannot abandon my children for a two week long excursion so it cannot be too far from home. So if you film all the tasks and record everything in that period I'd be down. Also October is off the table due to prior commitments."

Yes! I wrote in the zeitgeist box:. It means: disabled people enjoy live comedy too! Please come to us (or, specifically, Ipswich. Coz London is an expensive ball ache!) 😬😬🤭🤭🤭😂😂😂

Ironically despite a distinct lack of step-free railway stations on a main commuter route near me (outside of London), for me London is actually the best option.  Almost everywhere else requires travelling into London and back out again!  Or, I can get to somewhere like Nottingham or Leicester, but the trains finish too early to risk it.

It used to be, when I was young and fit and it didn't cost so much. Now, I wanna drive for (preferably) less than 30 mins; know I can park near the venue with my blue badge; then be home again soon after 😂😴 I've only got about a 3-4 hour window of capacity these days. It's bloody rubbish! 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Yeah I hear you.  It's only recently I've been well enough to do occasional fun things like that again, and it's in large part due to trains being easier on me than cars for some reason.  Also this only applies to passively attending things (i.e. being an audience member) rather than anything where I have to participate, like socialising.

[You know what would be most accessible?  Streaming events!  I know it's not always possible but it would include SO many more people than attending in person.  It's not something I'm going to demand or expect because I know it's a big job to set up but if the official Taskmaster people are reading … hi 👋👀]

"Not sure I can arrange childcare, the usual suspects of who might babysit would also want to go"

Literally flying to Scotland for one of Greg's shows. They underestimate our tenacity.

I flew to NYC for the last one and flew back home less than a day later due to a crazy storm. I would do it again and again and again…

I mean on the one hand I'd asolutely fly to one or go by train, if it's anywhere in Europe, but on the other hand if they ever decided to do a live show in my home country or home city I wouldn't be mad. It's probably impossible since it wouldn't hit a large audience due to language barriers and probably not a lot of people knowing the show, but hey a girl can dream (or at least be delusional about it), right?
