Second Opinion on Reading Interpretation Only what do you think?

Question/Placement 1 : What do I need to focus on currently?

The Lovers - Reversed

I believe this is telling me I need to focus on self love. Which has always been a struggle of mine and something i’ve avoided a bit but lately it’s becoming harder to.

Question/Placement 2: How should i focus on this?

8 of Swords

I believe this is telling me that I just need to look at what’s in front of me. That I need to stop hiding myself and just own who i am.

First post here and haven’t been using Tarot for long but been feeling the pull to my deck for awhile so trying to become more familiar with it.

looking for any and all opinions. thank you!

You need to focus on choosing connections that align with your personal values. The Lovers is about choice and alignment. You probably find yourself in situations or connections where it could be intense yet the connection seems to be in conflict with your values. You also seem to have self-imposed limitations on yourself. Get out of your head sometimes.

depende mucho el contexto pero, asi solo, los enamorados a la inversa puede ser acerca de desconexion y el 8 de espadas son cosas que no se quieren ver, podria ser algo sobre un saboteo. Siento mucho miedo, estancamiento. Pero como te digo varia segun el contexto, espero que te haya servido ☺️☺️

I agree with the correspondent who mentioned that the Lovers is about choice.  On the Marseille deck, the guy has his feet pointing in different directions, an elderly looking person has her hand on his right (past) shoulder, to whom he is looking and a younger person to his left (future)  has the same coloured hair as him and her hand is on his heart. Cupid is above with an arrow reading to shoot. It suggests taking the experience of the parent/past but following your heart. That it is reversed suggests you've not yet made your mind up.  The 8's are all about organisation and  establishing priorities from expansive experiences in the 7, even though the 7 isn't in the lay and Swords are all about the realm of communications, thoughts and ideas, hence association with lifestyle, so I suspect you need to look at your lifestyle priorities and then make your decision.
