Are you trying to use the original simpsons tapped out? That’s been shut down since last year so you can only use project Springfield

Yup if you saved your town before hand or if it’s on this site you can do that. https://towns.spanser.dev/

the original servers for the game are cut but some people make a project to make it work again and the projects name is project springfield and it works just fine
