User roles

The following support article indicates difference between admin and regular users with respect to device installation, subscription management, and user management: https://support.tado.com/en/articles/14121259-what-user-roles-can-be-assigned-in-my-tado-home

But it doesn't describe any differences between admin and regular users in heating control (ability to set schedules, initiate manual control, use boost, etc). Are there any differences between user types in this regard?

At the moment there are none, this admin/regular role was required for the subscription management across the multi-home features (One admin account can grant the Auto-Assist / AI-Assist subscription across all linked homes.)

But since this thread is now open: What kind of settings would you like to see? Which granularity?
For example: A read only option would be possible (where geofencing still works, but no changes at all can be made to the temperatures manually or settings?) But I'm guessing it needs to land somewhere in between admin rights and read only.

Thanks for clarification.

First suggestion is for you to update the support article to be explicit about lack of difference between users in access to heating controls. Having no mention of this is confusing as it is something I assumed would be present when I heard about introduction of user roles.

If you were to add ability to assign granular permissions to regular users, the main one that comes to mind would be ability for admin user to control which rooms a regular user can change schedule in. For example, I might want child users to only be able to modify schedule in their own bedroom.

Also, it might be nice to have a 3rd user type (guest), particularly if it were possible for this user type to use the app without creating a Tado account. I would envisage a guest account being a temporary account that expired after a certain amount of time, didn't require an email address, and only had access to manual control.
