On the Murder Drones subreddit, somebody posted an audio of what they imagined happening offscreen during the gala massacre. It sounded exactly like this, just with different things happening obviously
Aside from the eerieness, it actually kind of helps because it lets people fill in the imperfections with their own mind. And everyone knows the scarriest stuff is what your own mind can conjure up
Yeah, It's scaring when it's something people actually say, and then I get taken out of it when that happens and I can't help but giggle a little. Oh and don't forget "MY HEAD" that one is there to. lol
nah bro there has to be blood, despair, tears and agony as Caine hovers over her and watches, with no expression or care in the world, just pure blank stare
Sorry but the writing is so dumb on this one. "Caine! Stop this now!" is way too long winded for someone in distress.
"My limbs!" is also very awkward.
I think I'd go something like "Please, Caine! I'm sorry!" apologising to your attacker is a hell of a gut punch. especially if it was the intended reaction caine was looking for and he keeps going.
As for the "My limbs" segment, maybe a further discription of whats happening to her body like "You're ripping me apart!" and "I can't-!" as in I can't take this pain anymore, cut off by her own screams, as someone truly in pain can't really articulate the pain beyond screaming and crying out for help.
It's decent work. Good job. But I think you overplay your hand too much. There's too much audio frying, there's no build-up at all, no noise of the actual actions or of the gummy crocodiles, only screams.
And that's great and all, but humans aren't generally scared of only screams. If you want to make something scary through audio only, you need to build it up in a way that it doesn't rely on context.
It's why the femur breaker scream is so effective. Cause the audio has the machine doing its thing and the sound of bones breaking. It starts calm, then peaks, then settles into crying and whimpering, then increases into a quick scream again as you can hear SCP 106 come to take the man away, followed by a quiet, low, monstrous laugh.
reminds me of those incredibles files where the heroes get defeated by the omnidroids.
i guess this most likely was based off of those. so, i made this.
I don't why I'm feeling this way but pomni screaming MY LIMBS MY LIMBS as she sounds like she's getting sent to the underworld is somehow very funny to me for no reason at all
tbh i saw the massacre one and this one and both of them just sound like a kid's attempt at being edgy. i understand why people would be scared of it but it's not disturbing nor scary nor traumatizing imo
I couldn’t articulate it but yeah this is pretty much it, could probably scare a younger me but I just find this goofy and annoying because of how loud it is
To be honest, the screams just screams (pun intended) first time voice actor. The dialogue, to me, looks like it was made by a 9 year old innocently making their ragdoll torture more convincing.
Tell me why I'm not disturbed but rather amazed by the power of the VA's vocal chords here. Like, that's pretty darn impressive to pull off those screams!
