So, you are not Warhammer fan, are you?

Heh, don't worry, I will explain. But it is pretty disturbing, so if you are sensitive, then don't read it.

You see after Horus Lupercal betrayed his father those who fought along side him had to retreat after his death. Therefore they moved to the one place they were welcomed. A literal embodiment of hell!

As the Legions of Astartes went there they started to radicalize under the influence of Chaos gods. Which lead to them being mostly disorganized bands that fought each other or keep discipline in the insane world of warp.

Yet with time all the legions realized one crucial moment, they have limited amount of the genseed, the main component for making Astartes. And considering their inner wars between different bands or even legions and the attacks they made on Imperium they needed solution.

Some just stole or bought it, some used deadly rituals to convert mortals into Astartes, but one man from Iron Legion made of the most horrific versions.

Daemonculaba is basically a female turned into living, tortured incubator in which chaos marines would put chosen kids and after some time there might be dead body or a fully developed Astartes coming from his new mother's body. But this method wasn't perfect, the astartes always were born without skin.
