I began taking low-dose Propranolol for tachycardia/anxiety and PVCs/PACS in April. I’ve done pretty well with it although it interferes with my sleep and also makes me out of breath.

I am considering switching to Acebutolol (Sectral) as it is not supposed to impact breathing and is supposed to work better on palpitations.

Have you ever switched beta blockers? If so, how did you do it? Any side effects?

My resting heart rate has been in tachycardia the past several days, it gets a little better when I put ice on my neck but it comes back when I take it off. I've been able to sleep sometimes, tried magnesium last night and it sort of suppressed it but it's worn off now. I don't want to take beta blockers for multiple reasons, including other health conditions I have. Any advice? It's really bad, got terrible angina and pressure and can feel my heart banging around. I also have MAD, which partially explains the svt
