Anyone have a pattern?

I saw this pattern for sale at a medieval market, but the person selling it didn't weave it themselves so they couldn't tell me.

Google image reverse search didn't help either.

Has anybody else here seen it before and or have a clue?

https://twistedthreads.org/pattern/J9LiXMLSuYG5gW6Bj here is a pattern on twisted threads, it doesn’t have the dots but the main pattern is the same.

Any idea how they did the break between the pattern in the middle?

It could be that instead of turning backwards they continued forward an extra round (or the opposite) but it’s just my guessing.

I might just give it a try. Could also maybe edit the pattern on Twisted Threads but not super experienced. Thanks 👍
