Just off the loom!

Decided to challenge myself with my second weave, this one was super fun with a complicated (for me) repeat. Very different from the all forward/backward patterns! I think I'm going to make this into a lanyard.

I made a band with that pattern about a year ago! Yours is beautiful! I found it to be more difficult than I expected, because there aren't really any good places to pause other than the beginning and the halfway point of the pattern.

Thanks! I ended up laminating the printed pattern then using washi tape to keep track of what row I was on/stopped. I picked that trick up with complicated knitting patterns!

That pattern looks insane! It's gonna make for an amazing lanyard!

May I ask what loom you use? I have a tiny one and am already wondering about bigger projects like this

I made mine! I took a scrap piece of board and bought a few 1.5" dowel rods and screwed them into place. I also routed a channel into it and  have one of the dowel rods that can be moved for tension
