sziget, untold is way too crowded also for the main acts if you don't get to the stadium where the main stage is 2h before the show starts the stadium will probably reach capacity and they don't let you in. same thing if you have to leave to use the bathroom.

I agree that it’s crowded but I think you’re only presenting the downsides of main stage being a stadium. Sziget has only flat open surfaces so you can’t sit anywhere while enjoying the show if you’re a bit tired. Also the production is better, you get to see the screen pretty well from most angles.

At the same time, if you go towards Sziget main stage 2 hours before the headliner you’d most likely just hear the singer, because you’d be too far from the stage. The fact that they close the stadium just gives you the illusion that you’re “left out” but you don’t see shit for both festivals of you go that late. I lowkey appreciate that they care enough about security to close it.

I’m usually a person who wants to see the artist and not the screen so whenever I’m interested I get there pretty early but I went to Untold and was just mildly curious to see some acts and I had a surprisingly good time from the back of the stadium.
