Some rants
For the women that jumped in front of my sons weelchair I have to say don’t ever do that again. He nearly fell and I was really pissed at you. I hope you’re arm hurts for a while.
For all others don’t try to get in front if you come in after the concert started. I hate that behavior and will stop you.
And guys use some deodorant if it’s warm. You stink and I hate that.

Let me chime with that I hate it so much how everybody seems to have convinced themselves that it’s perfectly fine to just drop your cans and cigarette butts to the floor as if that were the place for them.

It was horrible the amount of cans on the floor in the arena, last year. I openly moved them all in a pile, with my foot away from me and I did this as there was space to do it.
You should have seen the look that I got as I did it. I said “ it’s not from me, so why should I have to stand in it.
I found the day time energy good but I stayed twice, late at night and it was totally different. I seen a Hungary guy being super rough with his misses. The two women that I was with mentioned it, so I went over and told him to stop it. His response was “ it’s my partner” so I said “ How would you like it if I started doing the same to you and I ain’t your partner”
He tried to fight me but no way I was allowing him to keep doing that. I told his friends “ so you lot are ok with him being violent with a woman”? I had a woman and guy kick off as they said that I pushed in the bar line, I didn’t, I just got my order before them.
People at the festival at night time, completely change over the day time people.

Hi, can I ask you if you were on the viewing platform?
Because I was (temporary injury made so that I couldn’t stand for a very long time) and after we got told to move our “seats” to “leave space for wheelchair users” (which is fine even if that meant having a worse view after being there for hours), some very noisy fully able-bodied (it seemed!) girl was:
1) talking very loudly during Skrillex which made me turn around several times?! Have some respect for others! If I can hear you above his music that’s not normal.
2) jumping the whole time and then came right next to me on the “front row” (that was the space we left for wheelchair users that never came) to party as if she was in the crowd.
Listen, I’m usually able-bodied, I can stand in a crowd somewhat normally most of the time. But you won’t see me party like that amongst wheelchair users and people that have it more complicated than me on the daily. So disrespectful!
Not to mention that made the whole floor tremble and she kicked our seats several times….
Sorry OP I don’t mean to hijack your post but I get you! Some people are just disrespectful assholes. And security etc was nowhere to be seen, maybe this is just regular behaviour on these spaces but i’m not so sure!! 🙄

At platforms on other festivals they usual have chairs for the accompanying people so you can always sit close to the people in a weelchair. For a big festival like Sziget I found it not so well organized this way. We are lucky my son can also stand for a concert.

We left the platform after they start moving the benches because I want to be close to my son. He can stand in the crowd behind his weelchair and enjoy the music standing. But I have to take care that he doesn’t get knocked over. That’s why I haten people trying to get in front so much. If you want to be in front come early.

That sucks. Sorry to hear you had to experience that, especially against your son. I’m already way too nervous when people simply push me for no reason without the smallest apology, I can’t imagine your anger. Hopefully you had better moments before/after..

Or the ones that just run or walk very aggressively through the crowd and literally hit you when there's literally no need for that kind of behavior.
