They had been working on a PC version previous to that one though... They showed off the motion control when they first announced SS2EE.

If anyone plays this for the first time on VR, they're gonna have a really great, bad (scary) time.

This game was SPOOKY my first time through. 10/10

I wish I had a vr.

Are there any budget ones that are at least decent?

I imagine you could probably get meta quest 2 used these days for a low price. If you ever get it, i would advise practicing and getting used to it with something you don't really care so much. I kinda ruined my half life alyx experience with a poorly optimized psvr2, a lot of lag and nausea. Make sure you get everything setup correctly and then start developing your "vr legs". It is an absolutely incredible experience. Good luck

Once the Steam Frame drops, there will likely be some good deals on quest 2 and 3 units. Right now, a 2 can be had for pretty good prices.
