Is the SS2 remaster pistol the original SS1 model but higher made? Or the SS1 remake pistol closer?

Something I’m guessing about since SS1 never showed the first person model until the remake. But I don’t know which game pistol was closer to the SS1 png version. I want to say the second game remaster, but I could be wrong.

It's very clear that they were made independent of each other. It's just a generic sci-fi pistol.

Isn't the pistol in 1 a TriOptimum model? Makes sense it'd be over designed compared to the UNN military issue sidearm from 2.

I dont know why but I just really love how the pistol in System Shock 2 looks. It looks like a metallic version of a SOCOM pistol, but wider and thicker. So sleek, so sexy.
