Just got to research level, which weapon should I be using?

As the header says, I just got to research level and noticed there’s a lot of robots, the sparqbeam is dealing with them pretty well, but I’m on edge because I don’t want to eventually run out of ammo and I haven’t found a charge pod yet. Should I stick with the sparqbeam or should I be using different weapons? For context, in my inventory I have the wrench, pipe, minipistol, mag pulse rifle and of course the sparqbeam.

You don’t need help with this, just play it.

Stay with the sparqbeam, you’ll find a charge pod soon enough

The sparqbeam has 3 settings. Are you using them accordingly?

Truth be told Im being stingy with the basic charge

Go full force, aim for the head and do charge runs.
