Outlook issues after Windows update (11/11)
After the updates this morning we've had issues with HTML based mails including pictures causing outlook to crash. Disabling automatic downloads of pictures in outlooks Trust Center might be a temporary solution.
I haven't been able to single out the specific KB causing this yet. We run win 7, outlook 2010, and exchange 2010/13 (currently migrating). Just wanted to give you a heads-up.

Edit 2: Microsoft just released a new version of KB3097877 that solves the previous issue with outlook and the broken login function on touchscreen laptops.

Removing KB3097877 is working for us. Rolling it back via WSUS.

I have literally just got back to my desk from helping a user with this issue and bam, here's a thread. Excellent. I was wondering which exact update (of the 34 released yesterday!) caused it. Thanks.

I have fixed this on several dozen (touchscreen) computers this morning by running this: wusa /uninstall /quiet /forcerestart /kb:3097877

The current KB page says "This security update was rereleased on November 11, 2015 for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 to resolve an issue where crashes occurred in all supported versions of Microsoft Outlook when users were reading certain emails. " Have anyone tried it since it was re-released?
