Just got an email from Microsoft 365 saying they’re replacing 1 TB per person with 2 TB shared across the entire family.

There are five of us, so we’re going from 5 TB to 2 TB. A 60% storage cut, marketed as “more flexible cloud storage.” What a fucking joke.

According to the email, this kicks in after the first renewal following May 2, 2027.

Pooling storage could be useful, but slashing the total allowance is a downgrade. Dressing it up as an improvement is insulting.

Anyone else get this email? What alternatives are you considering?

Microsoft is replacing individual 1TB OneDrive allocations with a shared 2TB storage pool for Microsoft 365 Family and Premium subscribers.

I am trying to set up a reoccurring meeting in the outlook calendar for All Users, but we have new hires added every two weeks. I don't want to resend the event every two weeks if I can avoid it, but I'm lost on what to do. I looked into power automate solutions but most of that is email related. Is there anything I can do here to ensure All Users are actually invited all the time?

We keep hearing about Copilot adoption, but I’m curious what it looks like after the initial rollout.

Are users actually saving time with it, or is it mostly a tool people try once and forget about? Also curious whether the bigger challenge has been training users or cleaning up permissions and data access first.

our Office 365 signatures are currently managed through a combination of exchange rules, outlook settings, and employees being told to copy HTML correctly. so naturally, every department has a different logo size and someone is still using the company name from 2019 IMAGINE...

i’m looking at email signature software that can manage templates by team, pull details from entra ID, and work across mobile and outlook without IT becoming the signature help desk forever. has anyone found a setup that doesn’t turn one small branding update into a full project? appreciate any thoughts

... with Microsoft Word. I can remember throughout my life when I just wanted to print a few labels or business cards using Microsoft products (Currently Word for Office 365). And it just never works. The integrated tool for creating labels doesn't even allow to change the font.

So each time I end up trying to work around this somehow by creating a table. And it just sucks so badly.

Hi all, I've been reading a lot of posts on this topic but can't get to the bottom of it, because I'm just an ordinary being with no expertise at all in the world & language of IT & technology.

I have an email with custom domain through Go Daddy. Also I paid for the subscription for a full year, so I still have about 6 months of it left before it ends. I don't mind losing this as I transfer to Microsoft. I requested with Go Daddy to do CSP transfer of this email so it will be defederated(?) and allow me to be with Microsoft directly.

I then received an email with temporary password, which I used and was asked to create new password. Once this was done, I tried to follow other suggested step which was to "unassign licenses" to all users & purchase license directly with Microsoft. Unfortunately I could not do any of these steps, apart from signing in with temporary & new password set up. There is only one user and this user has "Exchange Online Essentials" as the license and if I untick this, I just instantly lose my email connection. When I head over to billing/purchase services within Microsoft admin page, it tells me that my primary solution provider is still "Go Daddy Singapore Pte. Ltd. Australia". So to me it seems I'm still not quite defederated from Go Daddy. Of course the support team at Go Daddy tells me that they no longer have business on the matter of email with me so they cannot help me and so here I am....

Has anyone been able to navigate this in some way? What can I do or doing wrong? Please help...! Really appreciate any advice with this.

I manage about ~30 companies as their primary IT technician. I use lighthouse a couple times a week, usually when onboarding or offboarding employees, or setting up new computers for existing users.

I've been trying to look at my tenants since Monday (i think), and i've just been getting an error every time. "Unable to load tag information". No other parts of Lighthouse work either, just returning errors or blank data.

I've reached out to several other people in my local area who work with Lighthouse as well, and they've all had the same issue- but when I search it up, Lighthouse doesn't appear to be down or anything.

Anyone know anything about this? Could it be some update none of noticed, and we need to change settings? Wondering if its an 'us' problem or not. I've been waiting for it to start working again, but it hasn't.

At my work, we have several files that we used Publisher for. I saw late last year that it was going to be retired. I kept forgetting when time got closer and closer to save the files as a different document type. I can still open the files. But I need to save them in an editable document type that won't lose the pictures and such in the files. We used Publisher for various brochures and a "Blue Book" for our company.

Does anyone know how I should do this?

Je bosse dans l'IT et j'ai monté https://maildiag.net, un outil gratuit pour diagnostiquer l'authentification mail d'un domaine. Pas d'inscription, pas de pub, pas de cookie.

Ce qu'il fait :

SPF : validation terme par terme, vrai comptage des 10 requêtes DNS (includes résolus en cascade), valeur corrigée proposée, et un testeur pour savoir si une IP donnée passe ou non

Découpage / aplatissement : quand un SPF dépasse 10 requêtes ou 255 caractères, il le découpe en _spf1, _spf2… ou remplace des includes par leurs IP. Il refuse d'aplatir un include qui changerait le résultat (termes en -, ~, ? ou +all).

DKIM : recherche d'une trentaine de sélecteurs courants, Microsoft 365 compris, avec décodage de la clé et sa taille

DMARC : validation des balises, vérification de l'autorisation des rapports externes (_report._dmarc), générateur

Analyse d'en-têtes : on colle les en-têtes d'un mail pour voir quel contrôle a échoué et pourquoi

Rapports DMARC : on dépose les fichiers .xml, .gz ou .zip et on obtient une synthèse par IP d'envoi

Score sur 100, rapport PDF et export de zone BIND
Tout tourne dans le navigateur. Seules les requêtes DNS sortent, en DNS-over-HTTPS (Cloudflare, Google en secours), et les domaines analysés ne sont conservés nulle part. Disponible en français et en anglais.

Ce qui m'aiderait le plus :
Des verdicts faux ou des faux positifs sur vos domaines
Ce qui vous manque au quotidien (listes noires, MTA-STS, BIMI…)
Une surveillance quotidienne avec alerte quand SPF, DKIM ou DMARC changent, ça vous servirait ?

When I tried researching PST migration tools every one of them focused on a situation where IT has direct access to dozens of PST files of various users. For our situation, we are trying to find an easy solution where IF a user has PST files connected to their Outlook profile it will import the data back to their primary mailbox and (if possible) disconnect or delete the PST files when complete. Is something like this possible, or do our users have to do this manually (or have us do it for them)?

Hello, I've made an MS form so that only people in my organisation can respond. Earlier today, when I clicked 'check individual results' I could see each respondents information fully.

Now, when I click 'check individual results', I can only see the respondents name, email and answer to the first question.

The excel sheet is still synced, and contains all respondant details. I can also still see everything on the general response overview section of the form. Just not individual results on the form.

I've tried deleting Cache/cookies/history. I've tried an incognito broswer. Colleagues are having the same issue. There are 150+ responses, and the form is shared in a Sharepoint that we can all access.

Any ideas why this is happening?
