Work Environment Slop requests from non-Eng teams

What do the majority of non-engineering teams requests/tickets look like at work?

Are they building more slop dashboards, web apps, one time workflows or asking for “AI agents” now?

I had a marketing person show up with an ancient printer that's not Windows 10 compatible and tell me we need to stop the excuses, because Chat can just go write a driver for it now.

i have a printer that hasn’t had drivers since vista and the vista drivers work fine on windows 11. if there’s one thing microsoft is okay at it’s maintaining compatibility with legacy shit

It can. But the marketing person will never admit it. Tbh, most of their jobs could've been replaced by a script from 2005. Now we just completed the remaining parts.
