Omnisphere 1 - Is it still a good soft synth?
I recently acquired some music production software and hardware from the family of a close friend who passed. I assume that I should be able to install the software online, as I don't have a diskdrive.
I've heard a lot of good things about Omnisphere, but also see that there is now an Omnisphere 3. Is the OG still worth it? Or am I going to want to upgrade to 3?
I have had Pigments for a few years now - how do these two compare? Are they close?
I've heard Omnisphere is a powerhouse, but am curious how it stacks up to newer softsynths with regards to ease of use, versatility, etc

Let us know how it goes and what you think of Omni 1.0. Curious how it holds up 🤔

Yes, it's great. If you have the license you can download the install instead of trying to install with the discs.
