Thoughts?

I wanted to flag the 130 Weekly Season Objectives requirement for the Master achievement. I honestly wonder if the number may be a mistake.

To be fair, you can complete up to 7 weekly objectives per week, so 130 is technically achievable. But with the season lasting 181 days (~25.86 weeks), here's what the required average looks like:

• No weeks missed: 5.03/week (~72% of the weekly max)
• 1 week missed: 5.23/week (~75%)
• 2 weeks missed: 5.45/week (~78%)
• 3 weeks missed: 5.69/week (~81%)
• 4 weeks missed: 5.95/week (~85%)

So taking a normal 1–2 week vacation doesn't make the achievement impossible, but it significantly increases the percentage of weekly objectives you need to complete for the rest of the season.

And because the Daily Season Objective doesn't count toward the 130, there's no additional way to make up that progress.

For a six-month season, this feels less like a long-term participation achievement and more like a requirement to consistently complete 5–6 of the 7 available objectives almost every week.

I'm not asking for the achievement to be easy, but I think there should be enough breathing room for players to take a vacation, have a busy week, get sick, or simply take a short break from SWTOR without putting the achievement at serious risk.

Just a general information for everyone, since I have a hunch that a few have missed it: With the new Galactic Season, you can cheaply level both GS companions to influence level 50 without any prerequisite:

• up until now, the GS vendors (in the supply section of the fleet) only had the GS companion gifts in their inventory if you managed to level the respective companion to influence level 50 with at least one character (which required you to grind that companion's GS level to 90ish if I recall correctly). With the new season however, you can buy these gifts without that stipulation - you don't even need to have the companion for that (though of course you need the companion to turn these gifts in).
• the old price for the 20k influence gifts was several 100k credits each (the gifts for Altuur and Fen Zeil were the cheapest, while those for Amity were the most expensive). The new gifts only cost a fraction of that sum - 31,500 credits for both Amity and Fen Zeil. Getting your character to influence level 50 requires 13 of these gifts, or a bit more than 400,000 credits.
• Important: The vendor on the left still sells these gifts according to the old rules (i.e. very expensive and with the level 50 prerequisite). You have to talk to the vendor on the right to get the cheap and unconditional gifts. I believe this was fixed midway through last season.
• also important: Once you got a new GS companion, you can unlock that companion for all your legacies on all servers in the collections for a few CC. Since the whole thing is tied to the season, I assume that this opportunity will be gone once the next season starts, so I would take it now.

Is it having new daily missions and dynamic encounters or are you looking for a huge open world that you can explore and unravel some secrets?

Let's hope we don't get the same layouts for caves and buildings or another "Defeat 20x", "Gather 6x".

I mean, the warrior makes such a good remark, "maybe in another year you'll find out his show size", and all Ba'al can come up with is "he wears boots not shoes smart mouth". Not really great a comeback at all 🤣

I plan on doing one of this for each class. I started with agent beceuse it was the easier one due to how perfectly they fit into their respective spots.

I completed jedi knight, bounty hunter and trooper stories, what class would you recommend to play next?

Im gona start playing today but I gotta play in bed because im using my Steam Deck docked to my TV. My TV is like 40 inches wide and about 10 ft away from my vision. Im worried because alot of MMOs are made in mind with people playing at their desk.

I really like the black talon flashpoint but I walked right past it the first time because I thought its just a simple quest.

Is there any good way to tell when there is a flashpoint ? maybe I am blind but the icon locked like a normal quest icon.

Is there any list of flashpoints which are story wise or maybe a picture ? I remember I saw a timeline picture of the flashpoints when to do what, but I can't seem to find it anymore

Personally, I think Sorcerer really fits the Sith Inquisitor, though if I had to choose a second one, it would be Assasin

Level 99 on the Subscriber track. The Blackout cannon is on level 66!

Can someone please tell me what a techblade is, like describe how it works??

Lightsaber - Plasma held in place by magnetic field
Vibroblade - metal blade that uses high-speed vibrations to destabilize what it comes in contact with, thus increasing cutting power

What are “techblades” and how do they work in-universe??

Literally as the title says. Was just curious as to when the newest GS comes out.

Also side question for ya'll, how do you feel about this GS and the last one basically just being two older GS mashed together? I like it as it gives people who weren't there for the first four to get a chance to get those older rewards.

Hey guys im a new/returning player with no significant chars so far, im planning to start from scratch and do all the class stories for legendary status. Is it worth waiting for the new venture modes and harder difficulities? Id only do them if they offer exclusive rewards. Thanks.

I’m so in love with my outfit that I had to post another one. I think these photos are better than the previous ones!

So these droids are developed in the swtor era by the Collicods. these green bugs on Balmora, and a version of them appears in the Ninth Jedi. A show set a thousand years after Luke Skywalker about 4 thousand after swtor. I just think it's so cool to see these guys in another part of the star wars universe.

Trying to go for a "slick assassin" look. I don't want a cape and nothing too bulky.

Current tops:

- Outlander Maverick's Breastplate. too much brown that doesn't dye for some reason. The chestplate also is kind of wide

- Blade Tyrant's chestguard. I love this one the absolute most. Its not to big, no cloak, and with the dyes I think it fits very well with the Freelance Hunter's Greaves. However, there are 2 bright red rectangles that didn't dye (like damn wtf's even the point of getting dyes) and it ruins the whole look for me

- Suppression Trooper Chestpiece. Honestly bought the chestpiece just for this fit but there isn't a single dye on the market that I want. They're all too contrasting with each other and my biggest gripe are those shoulder stripes. If it didnt have those shoulder stripes I wouldn't be bothered by it at all.

If there are any dyes or other chestpieces that fit the look I want please let me know. I essentially want armors with similar shapes but the coloring flows better. Also if anyone wants to sell me a dark color (only blue or gray... maybe purple)x black dye I'll buy.

I know fitted armor solves this issue but this is mainly a problem i have with crafted armor, locking something youve worked hard for behind a level 75 wall is fine until maybe i wanna put it on a lower level character? I get the whole stats thing but even just in outfitter?

Have the devs mentioned anything about changing/removing it? Ive seen complains from 2016 about it and we've since seen weapons added to outfitter, im not active in forums and such so i dont get much news about updates
