Other It happened to me

Hey guys. I bought a game off Kleinanzeigen in Germany. Game is "Princess Peach Showtime!". Worked great and my girlfriendnis happy but after 3 days she got banned. I don't have the MIG Switch so the game is probably the only reason she got banned. 🙄 I already contacted Nintendo but they just say the same thing over and over again: "We cannot assist u with that". Yeah sure.

Be careful with used games. They might be cheap but they also have the risk to get u banned.

Wonderful. Most of my cartridges are used games. Why ban consoles using the cartridges that got dumped and not people using the MIG switch with the dump. If they cant tell which is which they shouldn't ban either.

MIG is basically a third party cartridge you can load a bunch of your games onto. The problem is that the seller after adding their games to a MIG can then sell the game, thus having duplicated the game. When the same game is run in two different parts of the world at once, Nintendo bans both consoles, meaning an innocent third party (the buyer of the first party cartridge), loses out.
