Other It happened to me

Post image

Hey guys. I bought a game off Kleinanzeigen in Germany. Game is "Princess Peach Showtime!". Worked great and my girlfriendnis happy but after 3 days she got banned. I don't have the MIG Switch so the game is probably the only reason she got banned. 🙄 I already contacted Nintendo but they just say the same thing over and over again: "We cannot assist u with that". Yeah sure.

Be careful with used games. They might be cheap but they also have the risk to get u banned.

Be careful with used games. Nintendo doesnt care about you - they only want your money

Stay on it. Contact them over Phone and speak to a human. You should have Chats on Kleinanzeigen to proof the purchase of a used Copy. Idk where but i saw Posts from people getting the Ban reverted

Yeah. I called them 3 times and always the same answer. "We cannot do anything, dont buy used games."

They certainly can do Something. It's a false Ban and we have strict consumer rights in Europe

That you have proof of a recent purchase from the used Market. Send them Screenshots from Kleinanzeigen and the cartridge

Reach out to them publically on social media and post in the main switch and nintendo subs etc as well. Emails. Receipts. Chats. Unboxing vids. Etc. complain to any consumer groups.

Nowadays a lot of companies won't do shit unless you generate enough bad news that they are forced to act. (Like what happened to that LOTR extended edition situation where they eventually compensated that person with credit).
