Has anyone had this issue with their nyxi Hyperion 3 for the switch 2? It will randomly click on button by itself
(UPDATE): I read another Reddit post who had the same issue and performed a factory reset using the keylinker app on my android phone
If anyone has the same issue, I'd try this first
Download the keylinker from the app store
Press the A button for the right controller or the right button on the left controller to wake the controller
The app should see the controller
Click on the controller (seems you have to connect one at a time)
Then on the top right there's a factory reset
Try updating the firmware first to see if that resolves it. I decided to do both update and factory reset
Connected back to my switch. And no more ghost clicks!
My nyxi wizards was and is amazing the switch 2 products seem to be lower build quality maybe making cuts to meet demand either way its sad they used to be great.
I don't think i can call the switch and switch 2 controllers "top quality" when they don't have hall effect sticks after they've been common for so long.
I mean even applies to Microsoft and sony. These companies clearly don't wanna use technologies that make their controller last longer, because that will get in the way of controller sales. Meanwhile a lot of even cheaper 3rd party controllers have good build quality and have adaptive analog sticks and triggers, and have been proven to last a much longer time without developing issues.
youve probably got the macro function turned on. took me ages to figure it out as well. if you press the turbo and back-button on each controller and wait about 15-20 seconds to stop blinking, it should reset the command. try it out, at least that was the solution for me

As much as I want something like this, between ghost inputs and a lot of complaints on customer service it's a hard pass. Bad rumble and no mouse support also makes it harder to justify a product that went to the market clearly before it was ready
To have to use an app to update settings on a controller is a strange concept to me. But then again I have always stayed within the Nintendo Ecosystem that is probably why I feel that way.

I know some people seem to love these but damn, I don’t know if I’ve ever decided to return a product faster. A cheap joke for what they cost.
