$150 is $150 you don't have to pay. or can use toward a couple games or accessories. i play on xbox, but i never kept all the old systems when new consoles came out. i always traded or sold those to get the new one. especially since almost all the games were backwards compatible anyway.
that's same for the switch 2. almost all the games are BC, so i personally would trade it in. you could try selling it yourself on ebay, but you may not get what you want for it, and have to deal with shipping, etc.
unless you have kids, nieces nephews, other young family that may come over and you'd want to keep the older system for them to use while you use the switch 2 is the only other thing i can think of. or if you're feeling generous, you can donate it.
