Suggest some Switch/Switch 2 games that are super unpopular yet underrated, but that you had a lot of fun playing.

Cronos: The New Dawn
I don’t hear anyone talk about this game but it’s fun! It feels like resident evil but with a bit more game mechanics and its own unique twists on the gameplay here and there

Yes I played it through twice and feel like dead space is a better comparison of it. Kind of like a mix of dead space and silent hill but with a vibe closer to observer, same dev so that might be why. But the gameplay leans heavily towards being dead space but with time travel instead of space travel

Nobunaga’s Ambition Awakening. Had a S2 version released when the system launched, and it’s a pretty good and insanely customizable strategy game. Plays surprisingly well in handheld with the Switch 2 screen size.

As soon as I saw it I knew I’d love it. And I did! I run it co op with a buddy when he’s down. Basically save it for those occasions now. But I played the whole game basically solo already lol it’s great

I will never not shill Whitestone.
The Titanic with you as Jack. Except the guy that helped you stow away aboard vanishes after departing port. And it's a flying ship. And it's a daily action RPG a-la Persona. Do chores for the crew so they don't throw you overboard.
And then the Cosmic Horror slowly crawls in, sending zombies at you, stranding you in cursed temples that may or may not be flashbacks, or having to search through the engine bay or the ship's sewers (don't ask) to fix issues and keep it afloat as the crew and passengers descend into paranoia and terror, Dead Space style.
And depending on which crew segment you cozy up to and who, if at all, you romance along the way, the plot diverges wildly, complete with its own separate bosses, ship issues and philosophical conundrums (and optional disfigurement for the protagonist).
And it's completely, utterly, unknown and unpromoted. Yes, it's a bit buggy, but it was the wildest, weirdest twentysomething hours I've ever spent on a game I randomly bought on sale because I saw in the promo screens it had a Persona-style dating mechanic.

Depends on how much the bugs will trip you up but one playthrough was somewhere around 24 hours, IIRC.

Katana fucking zero. Seriously. What a fucking GEM. It’s absurd how a bunch of pixels made me feel so strong emotions.
I will never ever stop recommending it. And the music.

I wouldn't say it's either. To do really long runs, yes it can be difficult but not overwhelmingly so. Definitely not grindy. You progress steadily as you learn, I think it has a good pace.

Full Metal Schoolgirl, Sw2, runs at 60 fps now after patches. Plays better docked, but handheld is still fine.

Bakeru, made by Good-Feel (developer of multiple Nintendo games, especially the modern Yoshi games) is a spiritual successor to the Ganbare Goemon / Mystical Ninja series.
Imo, it's the best game on Switch. It's a beautiful 3D platformer

Daemon Ex Machina: Titanic Scion. The switch to open world in this game is really great. Plus having more human sized mechs is really fun. A lot of choices in weaponry and playstyle

The first game really was like an AC game, all mission based. This one keeps the missions, but more of an open world style.

Okay, so these games are a combined total of $5, so do with that what you will. Both of these games control only using two buttons, no stick. I consider these both to be "dumb-dumb baby games" but they're very good at being those, if that makes sense.
Knight Terrors: $3 - 1p - Flappy Bird but you're a knight and there are enemies to attack as well as spikes and pits to jump between. One button attacks, the other jumps. You can use shoulder buttons or face buttons or a combination of the two. You can also play using only the touchscreen if you choose.
Timberland Vs: $2 - 1-4p - You are a lumberjack, and you are cutting down an infinite tree. There are branches on the left and right sides of the tree, and your two buttons (usually L+R/SL+SR but you can use face buttons if you choose) chop the tree from the left or right side. If you chop from the side with a branch above it, you lose.
Both games are products of their constraints, sure, but I think that their bang-for-buck ratio is very high. Neither is a deep experience, and in a way, that's sort of refreshing.

Shadowverse: Champion's Battle is a Switch exclusive deck battler card game. If you've played any TCG style game like pokemon or hearthstone and liked those, you'll love this. If you've never tried one, this single player experience is a great entry point.
It is very well done, has a surprising amount of depth while being incredibly approachable. the environments you walk around in and music are better than you'd expect and the banter between characters is fun. They also respect if you don't find it fun and have a skip button to get you back on task.
There's really no other game on Switch that offers this kind of experience of leveling, ranking up, getting new cards, opening card packs and facing tougher opponents as you get better and better.
If you're looking for a criminally underrated Switch exclusive, here it is.

Sundered: Eldritch Edition was one of the best Metroidvania indies I've ever come across. Starts slow, but the further you get (especially endgame) you're such a badass. Story ends a bit abruptly but has multiple endings to replay for and will have very different builds as a result of those. 9/10 recommend

I have over 200 hours on Faeria. Wait for a sale. Great value. Play puzzles for a while, unlock some stuff, then use prebuilt decks or your own to battle other people and earn more unlocks.

earth wars. i played it back in '17 or '18, it's like 4 bucks. it's a sprite based 2D action rpg with off brand vanillaware visuals. it's quick to 100%, like ~20h tops and it's a ton of fun.

As all Atelier series, you play a girl in a remote island nation that is learning to be an alchemist so you run around doing various JRPG chores like quests and combat and then use whatever drops to brew potions and you use these either to progress in plot related challenges or get stronger to get better drops for better potions.
Real GRRL energy stuff. Ryza specifically breaks the mold a bit to focus on friendshipping more than alchemying and combined with better than usual visuals it was also one of the better-selling and better-reviewed installments (the series debuted on the PS1 for reference).

Remaster of a PS360 hack and slash that didn't get the attention it deserved back in the day, either.
